How do I get a Library Card?

If you are a CMIS student or staff member your CMIS ID card is also your library card. Parents and community members may apply for a free library card at the CMIS Library.

What do I do if I lose my ID or Library Card?

Lost IDs may be replaced through the front office for a fee of 100 baht. If you lose your library card, the library can replace it for a fee of 50 baht.

What are my obligations as a cardholder?

With the exception of the reference, DVDs, and current magazine issues, all library materials may be borrowed for two to three weeks.

Your borrowing limit varies with your library status (2 for preschool and up to 15 for Adults).

Anyone with a valid library card may take home or reserve any circulating library materials.

The Library charges overdue fines (5 baht per day). Please try to return all borrowed items by the due date. If you need extra time, you may renew your items online by logging on to your account in the online library catalog.

You are responsible for any damage to library materials that are checked out on your library card. If your library card is lost or stolen, please report it to the library immediately.

Please keep us informed of any changes in your telephone number and email address.
